@employment_with_amy: Are you required to start early or finish later than your contracted hours? Are you paid extra if so? If not, and if you're paid NMW this may bring you under NMW. Let me know in the comments! #hr #humanresources #employmentlaw *Not legal advice. Not exhaustive.
Paid minimum wage, store close is 9pm we get paid to 9pm but have to stay to clear customers, close store and cash up multiple tills unpaid. Usually takes an extra 15mins unpaid. Is this a breach?

If I'm required to be at my desk ready to work at 8, then I'm in my car leaving at 4pm and not a second later. O start packing my desk up and shutting down at 3.40. I am out that car park by 4.02

okay having to come in 15mins early for handover.... no it doesn't take me under NMW but why shouldn't people still be paid to come in 15mins early or have to stay later regardless???

As a millennial we have always been told to turn up 15 minutes early for work it's been drummed into us so we just do it I don't think I've ever been asked and I definitely couldn't stop now at 40 😂

This is the ENTIRE of the NHS…. The handover rooms door gets locked at 7am if youre not inside you get a disciplinary. The shift starts at 7 yet you need to get changed unto scrubs and shoes that cannot be worn outside of work

NHS is shocking. Start at 8am takes 10 mins to get on the system you get bollock. 30 mins dinner you have the same again but not normal as long to set up so your lunch is 25mins 😡
