@ufdtech: This new tech will make it even harder for us to detect when someone’s wearing those perv glasses. In what is legitimately a fascinating piece of technology, a company is showing off their new way of displaying images on smart glasses. Instead of putting a screen onto the actual lenses of the spectacles, it’ll just beam the images directly onto the wearer’s retina. Retinal projection isn’t new, but this is the first time it’s been shrunk down enough using a mirror to get it to fit in the arm of the glasses. It’s supposed to make the display even more hidden from view than they already are giving people a full smart glasses experience without standing out like a Google Glass user from a decade ago.
