Right! I’m no longer making myself available to people who only value my presence when it benefits them. My time, energy, love, and access to me are not things anyone is entitled to. I’ve learned that boundaries aren’t punishment their protection. If someone can’t appreciate me, communicate with me, or show up for me consistently, they no longer get unlimited access to me. I want someone who’s intentional and is pouring as much as I am into us. I’m choosing to stop overextending myself for people who wouldn’t do the same for me. My peace matters too much.❤️
