That’s a DuPont schedule, same as i work. What they don’t tell you is. You have to cover overtime due to vacation or ppl on sick leave. Then you have to be on call at some point (most places) assuming this is some sort of industrial workplace you will also have to work shutdowns/turnarounds. You don’t really always get all that time off, i know from experience. lol

I've worked a Dupont schedule for over 20 years. Love it. Take a week off with your long change. 👍

Until you have to work overtime on your days off. I worked 3 on, 2 off. 2 on 3 off. I liked it minus the OT on days off and having to work every other weekend. That’s the weekend everyone wants to do stuff of course.

I've been working it for 28 years. I get 6 weeks vacation a year . I'm about to be off for a month chasing those Ohio bucks. 👊🇺🇲 One week vacation on days equals 14 day off .

My modified Dupont is 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, then 3 nights, 4 off, 4 days, then 7 day off long change. I love it. I worked normal Dupont for 10 years and like this rotation better.

its nice for a while, until youve done it over 20 years, and you realize you are missing out on things with your wife and kids, and now you have sleep apnea....it was fun while it lasted...but my ass is about to go to days lol

And the other 6mos. you're sleeping and working. I work 6am to 2:30 Mon-Fri. with the option for OT everyday and weekend. I sleep with my wife every single night. I don't miss anything.
