This reminded me of an Indian man in Singapore that withdrew all of his CPF and gave up his citizenship to move to the Philippines to marry a Filipino maid that he met in Singapore. Upon arrival in Manila, the immigration authorities stopped him because the so-called future wife had sent him a Philippines passport. It turned out to be a fake passport. He was deported back to Singapore the very next day. Upon arrival, he was literally crying. The Singapore government issued him with a temporary stay document which he had to renew every month or week ( not too sure ). Men in Singapore should learn from these two men that your future so-called wife are scammers. With the money that you sent, she can easily buy a nice house in the Philippines and laugh at your stupidity. This is a true story because I was a former SIA staff and I happened to handle the case
