@a.r.t2185: "Arcadia couple charged with felony abuse of 14 surrogate-born children found inside their $10 million mansion. Security footage from the home revealed systematic beatings of children as young as two months old, with nannies allegedly directed to use sticks hidden throughout the house and discipline designed to avoid leaving visible marks. Prosecutors say the couple operated a surrogacy business from the residence, recruited surrogates under misleading pretenses, and maintained over 200 bank accounts. Investigators are now working to determine the biological and social parents of all 21 children linked to the case."
