This is so true! It’s also a death or life situation. It’s hard because you Can’t predict what the abuser will do next. it’s often some times too late and you don’t know until it’s over. He would talk so nice and seem ok and then So many times I’ve been like dam why did I even open the door and let him in. Thank goodness I’m still alive but like dam that shit was hella intense and scary situation to be in. I’m so glad I woke up and didn’t give up on myself and I’m safe. Now I just am dealing with the PTSD part of it now.
