Ts was funny. Idk why everybody is choosing to be an equine psychiatrist like it’s rocket science and this is a genuine mystery or something

Same reason people think there is more bad than good in the world, that’s always what’s effective and focused on

Maybe because they are prey animals and have to remember trauma to prevent it from happening again? Idk that my guess

to teach a horse to do something takes time and a lot of consistent training. Just because they do it once doesn’t mean they know how to do it forever. While a bad experience gives them trauma and as prey animals that effects them a lot

Takes a minute to install a button but once its done it’ll work for the rest of their lives. I love finding new tricks my rescues were trained for

I forget the name of the website but you can actually take a test and see how many good experiences it takes to override your negative experiences for humans the average good experiences to override negative ones is 8. meaning you need on average 8 good experiences as a human before you recognize something you had a negative experience with wasn't that bad. that's just the average for humans I imagine for horses it can take a lot more positive experiences to out weigh the bad ones
