My ex left me after 33 years. It’s been a huge adjustment. It’s been 4 years now. I went no contact. Someone I saw and spoke to everyday for 3 decades to not seeing or speaking to him for 4 yrs is a strange feeling. His family ghosted me. Which shows me where he gets his avoidant personality from. Hang in there. It gets easier. I’m not ready to date yet. The thought makes me terrified. I don’t want to end up in a shallow grave. lol. Ive been at the angry stage for a while now. How could he just bail on me and let me do life alone after all the years I gave him. Going now into my late 50s and trying to figure out how to make my golden years work. Money is a huge issue. I didn’t want to have to work into my 70s but here I am. Good luck to you!

my therapist told me to try that one time. out of all places i chose a crawfish boil place. why did i do that?! 🤣 sitting there in a bib with gloves on all alone, lol. the waitress kept asking (even if i answered) when’s your company coming?! never did it again 🫠 maybe I’ll try again.

So proud of you. The summer after my divorce I went to the beach. Right by myself. I didn’t have entertain anyone. No one to fuss and complain about anything. I ate what I wanted, slept when I wanted, stayed on the beach as long as I wanted. It was amazing. Keep going. Hold your head up!
