the contradiction comes in when you take them to be factual historical information like a table of facts. if you understand genesis as the poetry or narrative literary genres they are. or any of the other stuff like who killed goliath. if you understand what’s going on in the text you can accept there’s contradictions but then they don’t matter because they’re not important.

to be honest, that's how we understand the bible when we read it without the illumination of the Holy Spirit. I noticed all of those contradictions when I read the bible as an atheist but I realized it was just basic reading comprehension on my side when I read the bible after praying
