We bought a house on a corner lot and stored our trash can behind the retaining wall, exactly where the previous owners had placed it. But apparently because it was visible from the side street, we got HOA violations! Never did I think trash can placement mattered!!

Here is the thing. Is the thing I don’t like a preference? If the answer is yes, then I need ti mind my business. Otherwise worth a polite conversation. Most people are nice .
