Brian :
The also tamed down Snape a lot. In the movies he was depicted a grumpy school teacher who was also a double agent for Dumbledore. But Snape was way more awful to the trio in the books

Mrs Figg. She was a badass. She beat Mundungus up with her purse for leaving Harry alone

100% Agree. I think Snape, Remus and Sirius need to be in that list to. All of them most likely due to their actors and how they'd interpreted the characters. But Snape beeing "just a sassy teacher" instead of really, really mean towards students. Sirius beeing the cool uncle, instead of a person who was imprisoned for twelve years at such a young age that he couldn't mature properly, ending in snaps in the books and irresponsible decisions/talks. Remus literally ABANDONING his pregnant wive in a very cowardly way.

Also Ron is an absolute pussy in the films, even up to the end he’s still not exactly full formed and bad ass as he was in the books. He’d straight up punch malfoy up in the books early years and was a lot braver

10/10 on literally everything. I love the acknowledgement that Hermione was given all of Ron's good moments. He was a lot more useful in the books, that aggravated me about the movies.

In the movies Hermione took 90% of Ron and Harry’s smart and insightful moments. They never had to do that because she had PLENTY of her own to stand on 😭

Id of added Hermione to this list. The movies made her into a Mary Sue.
