I’m commenting for the first time. 😌 I believe many people didn’t want him to become president because he was Akufo-Addo’s vice president, and the NPP’s eight years in power were a difficult period for many Ghanaians. The wounds and frustrations were still too fresh, so having him come back to contest for the presidency was a tough sell. Honestly, I believe that if the NPP had presented a different flag bearer in the 2024 elections, they might have stood a better chance of winning. 😌
