@karliedoesdallas: Dallas made me do it ✨ A new series where I try all the new Dallas things or things my followers suggest and tell you if it’s worth it or not 💁🏻‍♀️ And I’m trying Docent Steakhouse 🥩 the newest steakhouse in Uptown! And I hate to disappoint the people who love to hate on aesthetic restaurants, but this was one of the best meals I’ve had in Dallas. 😍 Fun fact: it’s called Docent because this restaurant houses real art from Andy Warhol paintings to Samurai Art and Docents are the people who tour you around art museums. But to the food, everything I had here I would order again in a heartbeat. I started with seafood appetizers, the Tuna Tartar and SMALL seafood tower. Their Tuna Tartar is topped with jalapeño cotton candy that is dissolved by a peanut ponzu sauce 🔥 this spot had so many unique, well paired ingredients that made it an excellent meal. And onto the steak, this spot had a dozen+ different steak options including 6 Wagyu options. And when in France (or a steakhouse) you have to try the Wagyu ☺️ and it was buttery, barely needed cut, and cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back here. There’s not a single thing I ordered that I didn’t love. And my server was amazing 👏🏼 if you’re looking for a nice night out is Dallas, this spot is definitely worth the hype 💯 📍Harwood District, Uptown Dallas
