Yeah. Got pushed to tears by in law then was given an “aww, can I hug you?” Then after a no, “I need to know we’re ok. Let me hug you.” I said fine, let them hug me and watched them walk away like they won. Everything broke between us in that moment. They didn’t see me from start to finish. Now I’m simply polite. They still think we’re. ‘All good’.
