Best thing I’ve found for this is to clean the dumpster weekly. Hassle? Yes. Gross? Yes. Better than having maggots swarming all over a dumpster you have to touch? By far!

I mixed bleach, ammonia and rubbing alcohol poured it in my trash can and waited I enjoyed watching those little bugs die. Them I sprayed it out we haven’t had maggots for a few weeks now
