I like people being early but I hate when they're too early. like if your interview is at 2 and you show up at 1:15, you're not following instructions. sit in the parking lot for a bit.

I went to one recently and was almost 30 mins early. two other people were supposed to interview while I just bs with the owner the whole time. they showed as I was leaving after I took my time and both of theirs

As a restaurant manager if I am hiring and people show up late to the interview, O ask them two questions: “What’s your name?” How late were you?” Then I say thank you and that’s the interview. They don’t get the job.

They are giving you their very best at an interview If they dont show up early/on time, I can guarantee they will be chronically late for shifts. A restaurant is like a bicycle wheel. If one of the spokes is bent or missing, the bicycle will not run smoothly.
