So, the fake accounts. I don’t know about you but there is a serious number of fake accounts popping up on my profile. Mind you, I’m barely active on social media but some demented and clearly tragically broken people spend their time doing this. Let’s build a picture of how unhinged these people are shall we? 1. They create a fake profile. Like literally create a full profile on apps. That takes time. 2. They come up with a name, lift fake photos, create fake videos/images or steal someone else’s content. Who with an actual job is doing that? 4. They stalk your account. Watch what you like, who you engage with, what you post, and try to be a part of your “world.” Hard ick. 5. They get into your comments and hope you reply. If that doesn’t work, they start an argument with you to try to force a response. Can you say embarrassing? 7. If you don’t reply, they create more accounts and try to impersonate people they know you follow or engage with. So desperate. Yikes. In my experience, they’re often one of the following: - THE UNHINGED EX who won’t let go. It’s been over, but I’m irreplaceable. - THE EX’s NEW PARTNER. You absolutely don’t want the person back EVER and feel blessed that ended, but the new person is acting like you’re interfering with their relationship. Meanwhile, you blocked and severed all ties years ago. - THE TOXIC FRIEND/GROUP you cutoff because they snaked you and you realized they should have never had access to you in the first place so you removed yourself. Key words, REMOVED YOURSELF. They have nothing else to do? Like I said, tragic. - THE JEALOUS WOMAN/GUY who saw you online, a neighbor, friend, co-worker, colleague, relative, hell, some random at the gym. Now s/he’s in a one-sided competition/beef with you. Wowzer. - THE DIVINATION PRACTITIONER that sees your light and is obsessed with your energy, purpose, and connection to source. Don’t stress. Stay prayed up. - THE ABUSIVE FAMILY who is clearly wrestling with the fact that you went no contact and pulled back your energy. Don’t be mad. Keep choosing your well being. - THE NARCISSIST who once had influence over you and you cut ties so they want to regain control. Meanwhile, they can’t even control themselves but they want to control you? I’m confused. - THE SECRET FAN who loves your personality, fit, perspectives, look, but doesn’t want to admit you inspire them. So they create fake accounts to stalk and steal from you. There are consequences for that. Let’s be clear, YOU’RE a star, the icon, the one that got away, the greatest friend or love they ever had, the main character and THEY KNOW IT. This is always the behavior of people who are miserable, talentless, have zero identity of their own, grotesquely mentally unwell, hate themself, have no morals or, self control, and way too much time on their damn hands. Seriously. People who are doing things with their life would never engage in this crap. It isn’t our problem they won’t go heal. So focus on you. Enjoy your life. Shine brighter and never hide.
