Ok, but my concern about a rug on top of carpet is that the rug would dimple and wrinkle since the surface underneath has give. Please tell me I’m wrong because I’ve dreamed of rug under the bed, but all my bedrooms have had carpet.

Does your gallery wall tell a story and does it follow the plant rule? That’s the answer. If you put the entire wall together in a day and/or if everything thing is the same size it’s not interesting.

Caveat to the too many tiny plans problem, that problem is temporary and necessary! Similar to how it takes time to curate a room, it takes time to get plants to where you want them to be. Let them grow!!
