I’ve emailed the ministry. They replied with the usual blah blah your feedback is important to us. It is cruel to move someone out of their community to a city where they know no one. There’s a local that is known by everyone, he will be absolutely lost in Cornwall. My heart breaks for him. As a daughter of residents of the community and having many aging family members also living there this cannot happen.

my dad was in southbridge until he passed away 4 weeks ago. I can say they definitely need more staff to watch the floors.

I feel like there’s more to this story. I mean how old was the building? Do they have enough nurses to work it in a small town? Plus a Google search shows there’s one in Lancaster 20 mins from Alexandria. Maybe a new building would be better care for his mom. Idk I would like more info.
