the teacher Abby Zwerner won $10 Million but she should have gotten the $40 Million she wanted let's be real her lawyer is getting 33%-40%+ of that let's say 35% that leaves her with $6.5 and well you know the government wants it's cut and even thought she gave 3.5 to the lawyer it will still be gross income on her taxes so that is −4275000 to the state and federal government that leaves her with $2,225,000 I'm sorry I not get shot for 2.225 Million dollars. They came to a settlement this was not a jury verdict so maybe she is getting paid right away but if she is getting an annuity then this suck that is 29 years and that is only $76k a year to her starting pay at her school is like $57k Abby Zwerner was only 25 years old when she got shot she could have been at that school for 30-40 years easily and would have ended up making more money

I cannot imagine the things that child has heard and seen and experienced. That is heartbreaking. And that teacher using what could have been her final moments protecting those other children makes me want to cry

There are kids in a lot of elementary schools who act and talk like this on a regular basis. Schools are struggling to deal with those behaviors.
