@younkhinged: Blackbeard’s philosophy is way stronger than Luffy’s.😤 #Luffy #OnePiece #Blackbeard #AnimeDebate #PowerScaling

Spidey🏴‍☠️ :

disagree. Luffy’s philosophy is more about the pursuit rather than simply the goal. He romanticizes life and the idea that the childlike wonder, imagination and connection through strong emotions are what make life worth experiencing in the first place. His dream matters but he doesn’t care if it ultimately fails.

Sage :

It’s not that simple. Luffy’s thing is the pursuit of freedom and living life as freely as possible even if he fails at his goal. He smiled when he was gonna get executed at Log Town because he at least died chasing his goals of becoming King of the Pirates and lived his life freely.

Idealism vs realism

bmwdbz :

You say dreams require action as if Luffy isn’t been taking action since episode one, bro, gathered a crew and has been on a mission to get the one piece since episode one loll Luffy does what he wants and thinks about it later, it’s the law of attraction ,Luffy manifest his dreams so even when it looks like he’s not taking action he’s still coming closer to his goals and he’s not stressing about it and having a bad time like most people would trying to climb to the top. He’s willy-nilly enjoying it loll when the scales is good versus evil good always win. It doesn’t matter the route taken to get there.

You can never lose if you have Christ! Power is worthless

Jahzeel 🇹🇹 :

That's not luffy's philosophy...it's whst we assume based on our interpretation

hari34970 :

Luffy is unrealistic but he is good and Blackbeard is realistic but bad

joy graves :

no one ever cared about realism watching a fictional show why care?

BlackLeg123 :

Even oda said he would join blackbeard

Follower Toshi :

fighting for an ideal world is better than stagnating in a complacent one. great video btw

chronocave :

face it luffy and blackbeard are the two sides of the same coin. both going after the thing using the opposite methods

crookedhairlineman :

BLACKBEARD PIRATES>>>>>

SoVersetile :

Luffy does take action tho, that point defeated yours position before you even built it up

𖦹꩜ᯓ J𝖔h𝖓 ᯓ꩜𖦹 :

zihahaha

Rippedandsealed :

luffy is willing to die fighting for his philosophy what are we talking about. luffys state of mind is already king of the pirates. he does nothing but take actions... do we forget the scene when shanks says guns aren't for threats they're for action 😭 constantly living moment to moment while having a vision that leads him ever closer to that end goal. whether he reaches it or not doesn't even matter hes already living truth that his philosophy is better purely by those he frees while embodying his strongest self at all times, and knowing life is unfair he fights fairly anyway cuz he is that DUDE.

Frogfruit🐸 :

The world doesn’t stop for anyone

Emmanuel :

Luffy already said he doesn't want to be the most powerful pirate or nothing like that it's y'all that can't accept people just run off different processors and have different priorities in this life

saint :

Luffy don’t pretend the world is fair tho he accepts he can lose at any moment

Ds :

In real life yes if that’s the case in ur logic luffy would be dead all u have to do is watch one piece the hole of the strawhats crew has faced what ur saying what would they do and that’s why they want freedom

Jay :

Never tell the world ur dreams
