@jennaxhealth: It’s not normal to feel terrible every single day It’s not normal to have debilitating symptoms every day But it is unfortunately normal to have this experience trying to get care #chronicillness #invisibleillness #womenshealth

We need a new specialty—something like “multisystemic diagnostics” where the whole job is figuring out what’s wrong. They don’t even need to be the one to manage care, just to figure out what’s wrong & what is connected.

I have the “You’re too young to be going through this” I agree! Let’s fix it so I don’t have to go through this my whole life 🫠 It’s almost like I also don’t want to be feeling like crap which is why I came to you to help me

Yes! And they send you to the different drs who give you conflicting instructions and they won’t talk to each other to form a care team.

The overlapping multi symptoms being sent out to different doctors to solve only one part is the worst.

I have 20 brain lesions and a host of "unrelated" symptoms, and the neurologist can't figure out what is wrong with me.

This is exactly what it's like having an invisible chronic illness and looking for answers. It feels like a wild goose chase. Insane that there aren't really doctors that specialize in the body. Looking at it only in parts makes no sense when everything is connected

internal medicine is the next step. looking for those conditions that connect the dots instead of the chasing the symptoms

The first time i went to a specialist who fully understood what was going on with me was when i went to rheumatology. She has so many patients with fibromyalgia or me/cfs sent to her by primary care doctors who dont know what else to do that shes taken the time to educate herself on those multisystemic problems because it seemed like nobody else would. She immediately got me set up with specialists familiar with amps from her hospital (she comes to mine monthly bc we dont have peds rheum) to start my treatment plan

I had to go to the hearing doctor because of extreme muffled hearing and headaches caused by said muffled hearing. He looked at me like I was an idiot, didn’t even spend three minutes in the room with me. Just told me my hearing is completely fine and that my headaches don’t exist before spouting some bullshit about having a favorite ear

I had to figure it out mostly in my own because I don't have enough money to waste on all these mediocre doctors. 💀 It's endo destroying my body. Systemic neuroinflammatory disorder. Connective tissue gets fucked. Brain fog. Palpitations. Severe depression. Mood swings. Nausea. Dizziness. Vertigo. Issues with chemical and food intolerances but I also get colds all the time. Rashes. Fatigue. ME/CFS. All worsened and driven by endo damage. 💀 It turns out when everything is getting fucked everything fucks up. Who would've known. 😂😭😂
