This is so natural. It’s our instinct to to spend more time with the babies because they literally need us to survive. But it brings guilt sometimes and it hurts 😢

It never ends mine are 26 and 22 and it’s still the same feeling. Especially since one has two babies. Trying to split my time, extra groceries, a little happy $ is hard.

It’s a transition for sure, but because each little is so different, as they grow you get to love them in so many different ways. The newborn phase is an adjustment for everyone. Love and hugs to all the mommas out there that have felt or are feeling this…🫶🏻

As a single mum with a toddler (many moons ago) I feared so much I would not be enough. The baby in my belly became my child’s little sister and not my new baby and that was the focus and they took that role so seriously. They’re now getting into teenage hood and that bond is ferocious, even when they brawl. The second, my youngest, came into the world I immediately realised I wouldn’t ever ‘not be enough’ my heart just grew twice as big. They are a force together and their laughter makes my heart grow even bigger and, as I work myself into the ground so they can thrive, I see them talking about wanting to adventure the earth as they grow and I know I have done okay, as they want a future where they don’t need me - but they want to tell me all about it - as it should be ❤️
