Here is a quick cheat sheet covering popular public DNS providers, their IP addresses, and key features: 🛡️ 1. AdGuard DNS * Primary IPs: 94.140.14.14 / 94.140.15.15 (Ads & Trackers filtering) * Family Filter IPs: 94.140.14.15 / 94.140.15.16 (+ Adult content filtering) * Best For: Blocking annoying ads, trackers, and malicious domains out of the box. ⚡ 2. Cloudflare * Unfiltered: 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 * Malware Filtering: 1.1.1.2 * Family Filter: 1.1.1.3 (+ Adult content filtering) * Best For: High performance, speed, and privacy-focused browsing. 🔒 3. Google Public DNS * Primary IPs: 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 (Unfiltered) * Best For: Fast, reliable global routing and maximum infrastructure compatibility. 👪 4. OpenDNS * Standard: 208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220 * FamilyShield: 208.67.222.123 / 208.67.220.123 * Best For: Customizable filtering, parental controls, and blocking phishing/malware. 💡 Key Takeaway: Choose Cloudflare for pure speed, AdGuard for ad-free browsing, Google for ultimate uptime, or OpenDNS for family control.
