If you think about it, it’s a never-ending loop. Herobrine’s whole goal is to stop Steve from progressing, but Steve is strong enough to defend himself from herobrine. Then after Steve is able to progress through the entire game until he gets bored of it leading him to then take over other video games. After that, he has so much knowledge that his eyes turn white and he realizes at the end that what he did was pure evil so he tries to go back and stop himself from progressing, but he fails to do so. And just for fun to also add in herobrine makes a school for monsters to train them to become stronger than Steve to prevent him from stopping progressing but of course the school will turn into nostalgia making it so that the entire sequence must start over again.
