@ofsmokeandsoil: The Allhallowtide Ritual Box This year’s box was built around remembrance, vigil, the household threshold, and the beloved dead. Not opening the door to whatever happens to wander, but making the house ready for those already known, remembered, and welcome. Inside are ten ritual and folk-magic pieces, including House of the Returning Ritual Oil, the Bone Candle, October Smoke incense, The Fixed Door threshold charm, The Housed Dead Frozen Charlotte reliquary, The Hollow Jack, The Listening Glass, Soul Cake Spice, a Witch’s Burr, and The Quiet Company 5×7 print. The box also includes The House Made Ready, an Allhallowtide rite that brings several of the pieces together to prepare the home, fix the boundary, welcome one of the beloved dead, keep vigil, and close the house again afterward. There is also an Allhallowtide correspondence sheet and a parchment Soul Cakes recipe for anyone who wants to set aside the dead’s portion before sharing the rest among the living. Everything was designed around the feeling of late October: old bone, soot, dead leaves, blackened wood, jack-o’-lantern light, quiet rooms, and the sense that the ones before us are never quite as far away as we think. Allhallowtide Ritual Boxes are available now in the Etsy shop. Quantities are limited. #witchesoftiktok #samhain
