I love hosting dinner parties with friends or family. But I heard an idea that would be a lot less stress or money. Instead, host desert and coffee.

75%-90% of people will cancel last minute and I will get my feelings hurt. No thanks.

You’re not kidding. Half of my friends didn’t even respond with a congratulations when I sent them my child’s graduation announcement. They are definitely not good at being adult friends.

We used to do game night, easy casual and fun. But I wish we threw more dinner parties also. Good thought 👏

We do it every month !! When you have several couples who reciprocate it’s always better and a LOT less expensive than going out !!
