For years I biked from leslieville to my job downtown on Adelaide and yonge. In the areas with bike lanes, I was safe, I felt protected. When I biked in areas without bike lanes, I was nearly hit every day. I was nearly run over by a truck, I had to dive onto the sidewalk to save my life. A taxi tapped my back tire one day and at first I thought I was fine, until my tire burst. Suddenly I had to carry my bike all the way to work. If there were bike lanes in those areas, these things would have never happened to me. I was lucky the taxi was turning and going super slow, other wise it would have been more than my bike damaged. Those are just two of the many, many dangerous encounters I had, it felt like it was a matter of when I would get hit fatally not if. It was terrifying. Bike lanes save lives, we need more, not none!

The bike lanes were built improperly and are extremely dangerous you’re safer not riding in them. Don’t forget most business weee worried bike lanes would drive away business but they were told no it will increase but the reality is a 20-25% drop in revenue

The only place Ford belongs is prison, and if he doesn't end up there after the next provincial election (preferably before) then I've lost all hope in our judicial system. Where the hell are the RCMP? Somebody had better start campaigning on putting him behind bars. A lot of people in Ontario are pissed off and want accountability. @Tyler Watt
