Other families are reporting toxic smells in their yards. And at the same time, we’re being told there are no problems here. What are they pumping? Why is it happening now? Why isn’t someone standing up and explaining it to the families who are scared and asking for help? And here’s something people should know: Glenn Springs Holdings, the company responsible for maintaining and monitoring Love Canal, is an affiliate of Occidental Chemical. Hooker Chemical, which Occidental later acquired, dumped hazardous waste at Love Canal. THE FOX IS RUNNING THE HENHOUSE I won’t just be a watchdog. I’ll be a straight-up pit bull, fricking demanding answers and demanding help for these families in Albany. I’ll keep after this until our community gets the truth, the cleanup, and the support these families deserve.

The entire area is a containment area. They use vac trucks to empty the collection basins regularly. It doesn’t mean it’s contaminated…but it probably is.
