It’s more about choosing an affordable college and degree that leads to a job. If not, work your way to promotions , certifications etc. I have 2 that went to a small local school. Worked part time. No frills. On a budget. A third went straight to work. Worked her way into management All are doing equally well. (Of course we are all impacted by current economy)

Yeah and our kids are brainwashed by the education system telling them they have to go to college or they're nothing. So just telling them college is a ripoff falls on deaf ears. I would seriously homeschool if I could go back and do it again.

Both of my kids hated college and left. They both work and contribute to society. College is not for everybody. Trade schools need to make a huge comeback.
