U can make a paste with flour and water to close up ur flautas ,that way u dont need to use toothpicks either

Just a few tips sis cus this is one of my all time favorites dishes and I do keep it in my weekly dinner lol but when warming up tortillas in the microwave since they are a bit hot when taking them out to separate them one by one onto another plate to unstick them and for them to cool while separating than you roll them up tight they stay rolled when placing in the oil place them seal side down slowly and don’t turn them till it sealed closed🫶🏼

A trick I use is putting a toothpick and put two flautas on one toothpick with the opening towards the middle so they stay sealed!
