@cgtneurope: Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan ruled out sending troops to fight Yemen's Houthi forces, despite a defense pact with Saudi Arabia. Türkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement in August, in which they committed to helping each other should one of them be attacked. The pact has not yet been ratified in Türkiye. "This is a defense agreement," Fidan stressed, "[Türkiye] will not send its troops to another country's territory to launch an attack".
