@spiritualunderstandings: “The All is Mind; the Universe is Mental.” Of the Seven Hermetic Principles, the Principle of Mentalism stands at the beginning for a reason. It asks us to look beyond what the eyes can see and begin to understand the deeper reality behind our experience of life. The All is Mind. The Universe is Mental. Consciousness is not something insignificant within the universe. Consciousness is fundamental to how we experience, interpret, and give meaning to the universe around us. We do not experience life exactly as it is. We experience life through the mind. Two people can stand in the same place, witness the same event, hear the same words, and walk away carrying two entirely different realities within themselves. Why? Because between the event and our experience of that event stands the mind. Our thoughts influence our perceptions. Our perceptions influence our interpretations. Our interpretations influence our emotions. Our emotions influence our actions. And our repeated actions eventually shape the life we experience. Source: YouTube | Bro. C.
