@cbsatlanta: The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has charged five inmates with the killing of 24-year-old David Addo-Wright inside the DeKalb County Jail. Deputies found Addo-Wright, of Covington, unresponsive with multiple wounds on Sept. 23, and he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The five inmates — Amir Andrews, Dajuhn Bryant, Treonte Brintley, Messiah Hinson and Jayden King — face charges including malice and felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of prohibited items and tampering with evidence. Details about what led to the charges remain limited, and the investigation is ongoing. Addo-Wright’s family previously said they were told he had posted bail on the day of the attack and was expected to be released. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said it will continue cooperating with the GBI as the investigation and prosecution move forward. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the GBI Atlanta Regional Investigative Office or the GBI Tipline.
