I literally left Target angry yesterday because what do you mean Joy Lab sweatpants are $35. I remember a few years ago that brand being super cheap and I loved it cuz it was still pretty substantial quality. And all the decor items are ridiculous. Very basic and cheap-feeling throw pillows for $30.

I’m now going to consignment and thrift stores to get cheaper pieces. I’m not paying these prices for new clothes. Lower the prices and I’ll start buying again.

Remember when you could get a simple fitted v neck shirt for cheap? Now it’s 40 dollars for a boxy shirt that is barely long enough and it’s see through when you hold it up to the light.

Walked out yesterday. Went to get my 13 year old son a shirt and pair of sweats. Plain long sleeve tshirt was $20. Cheap pair of sweatpants were $25. I was appalled. Absolutely not.

Haven’t gotten a shirt from Target in probably four years. Used to get all my clothes there. Went there a couple weeks ago and thought I just try to get a few short-sleeved plain shirts and couldn’t even find one. Why are shirts being sold for $35 there. Then went to Old Navy. A cardigan was $44 but $22 online. It’s like they’re trying to take themselves out of business
