Someone offered me $10k for my paint. I said he was for sale. The guy laughed at said everything has a price. I looked him dead in the eye and said not this one. I had the best 9 years with him. Lost him to cancer at 14 unfortunately

Mom tells me we use to have a stud that would not run with a kid on his back, not even trot. We could be kicking and whooping and he wouldn’t do more than an easy walk. These horses are worth their weight in gold.

That’s awesome! You can’t go wrong with teaching your animal to ground tie or hobble training! Bahahaha I have a 17.2h mammoth of a mare i can’t ride her she’d likely take me through fences but if I drop that rope she’s tied! That’s what 10k worth of training got me can’t ride her but she ground ties and you know what.. 10 years later she still only ground ties but I’ll take it;) lol
