Everything they said about Microsoft applies even more to Amazon. So why just Microsoft? Also they are only pausing Greencard applications. Why are new H-1b and F-1 Opt applications not being paused? Without that, nothing will change.

The amount of layoffs in the US, the firms can hire American workers to complete projects. Also a lot of these same tech companies want government contracts as well as permit for data centera, no real reason for H1B in tech industry any more.

Companies have hired thousands of H1B engineers through these firms. I'm hoping now US born engineers get more job opportunities and US based recruitment firms get more business
