It reminds me of when I saw this video of a kid named after a plant, doing some weird unsanitary shit, and all the comments were “I was about to be mad, until k realized it was just _____” like is that not creepy? Why would you want the WORLD knowing who your baby is?

i agree in part, like kids shouldn't be posted full stop. BUT there's a cultural aspect you're not reading correctly, in black and brown communities the auntie thing isn't so much a parasocial thing than it is more of a cultural thing. just something to think about when addressing this! hugely respect your work btw
