@minjustcooks: Mexican-Inspired Street Corn 🌽 The final part of my 4-part series on how to make my ground beef tacos! 🌮 🌮 Part 1: Taco Assembly 🍅 Part 2: Fresh Pico de Gallo 🥩 Part 3: Seasoned Ground Beef 🌽 Part 4: Mexican-Inspired Street Corn Ingredients: • 3 cobs of corn • 3–4 fresh garlic cloves • ½ tablespoon butter • ½ teaspoon Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning • 1 teaspoon carne asada seasoning • ½ teaspoon Old Bay • ½ lime • Minced fresh cilantro • ½ teaspoon black pepper • Cotija cheese or any shredded cheese • Oil of your choice Instructions: Start by removing the corn from the cob, then chop up some fresh garlic and cilantro and set them aside. Heat some oil in a pan over low-medium heat, then add your garlic (I forgot to add the garlic first in this video!). Once the garlic starts to turn slightly yellow with some brown, add the corn and turn the heat up to medium. Stir frequently until the corn starts to turn a light golden color, which takes about 4–5 minutes. Next, add your seasonings: Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning, carne asada seasoning, Old Bay, and black pepper. I skipped the salt since the Creole seasoning and Old Bay already contain salt. Mix everything well, then add ½ tablespoon of butter and immediately turn off the heat. Mix everything together and transfer the corn to a bowl. Lastly, add cotija cheese, lime juice, and cilantro. This is great as a topping for tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, or you can enjoy it on its own! That's a wrap on my 4-part ground beef taco series! 🌮 Enjoy!
