i'd be much less baffled by carrie ann giving amber a 7 if she hadn't also gave tyler and jackson a 7. like, i need her to explain to me how she thought those dances were all the same score. because amber, to me, is so clearly so much better than them. the rumba absolutely wasn't her best dance, and it wasn't the best rumba. but she was better than most of the other people carrie ann gave 7's too.

What makes me disappointed is that everyone is held to a certain standard while Guillermo is treated with gentle care, this was probably the only time that he got critiqued about not dancing. Giada was criticized harshly, Elaine was held to a higher standard than Andy was last season. If any of these stars did the same as Guillermo, they would be judged harshly. Well they actually are, Tyler, Jackson improved this week but those two are the ones that are made fun of often but yet ignore the Guillermo of it all. Unfortunately this is the point where the popularity contest is going to be very evident where people who have potential are going to get voted off all because of the infantilization of a man
