the show would be sooo deep to acknowledge that it was infact korras fault and pavis mission was not to clear korras name but to rebuild the reputation of the avatar "failure does not define us" korras failures do not define Pavis future.

my theory is that somehow all previous avatars are in some sort of spiritual limbo like avatar sonam and pavi or nisha has to find a way to reconnect to them like in the statue room in the southern air temple
