Microsoft just announced XP, a new Xbox division built to take its franchises into film and TV (Xbox Pictures), merch (Xbox Products), brand deals (Xbox Partnerships), and live events and theme parks (Xbox Places). It's led by Kayleen Walters, former president of Mojang and executive producer of A Minecraft Movie, who reports directly to Xbox CEO Asha Sharma.
