@powellheadz: Meet my sister Abbey She was born with an incredibly rare condition called Klippel-Trénaunay Syndrome (KTS) a condition affecting roughly 1 in every 100,000 people, or 0.001% of the population. Living with this condition has meant facing challenges that most of us will never fully understand. Things that seem so simple to the rest of us can be incredibly difficult for her. Wakesurfing is one of the activities that gives her the chance to experience that same sense of freedom as everyone else. What amazes me most isn't just her ability to push through adversity. It's the way she approaches life despite it. I've watched her face challenges most people couldn't imagine, yet I can't recall a single time I've heard her complain about the hand she's been dealt. She doesn't let the things she can't do take away from the things she can. She just keeps smiling, showing up, and making the most of it. I think we could all learn something from that. Sometimes the people who have every reason to complain are the ones who teach us the most about gratitude 🙏
