I love this scene because it shows that Chris is Carrie’s foil. Carrie grew up in a strict Christian home with parents who were super overprotective about everything from food to chemicals. Chris’s parents weren’t like that. But neither upbringing did either of them any good.

I liked the irony of the brick analogy. When Chris was on the bridge with Billy, Billy talked about how he considers himself a hero, because he has the power to drop the brick on the traffic below but he's really holding it back. To Chris and Billy, they see themselves as above others and having power over them, and therefore righteousness. However at the end, Carrie is the one who holds the brick above them (her telekinetic powers) while they are the ones in traffic (stuck in the car). They feel the terror of having that power held above them and by the time they regret it, it's already too late.

sumpah gw kira ni series bakalan b aja karena udah berapa kali di remake dan bosan sama cerita nya ee pas ni series tayang malah bagus banget setiap sudut pandang karakter di eksplore apalagi enak nya si Carrie ini emang bener top banget di movie dibikin kek mabok agama pas di series merasa kasian banget sama emak nya dan perjuangan buat si Carrie gak main-main effort nya gua kasi rating 10/10 ni series karena berhasil buat cerita yang beda tapi masih mempertahankan elemen2 film lama nya
