@dannyslandscapingtx: 🌿 ARE YOUR BOXWOOD HEDGES TURNING BROWN OR DYING? 👀 One of the biggest headaches homeowners face with Boxwoods is a fungal disease known as Boxwood Blight! Once infected, there’s no fertilizer or chemical treatment that can cure the disease and restore severely damaged hedges to their original appearance. At Danny’s Landscaping, we believe in finding long-term solutions instead of having our clients repeatedly spend money replacing struggling plants! 💚 ✅ Our recommendation? Dwarf Yaupon Hollies! These beautiful evergreen shrubs offer a similar clean, manicured appearance while providing excellent heat, drought, and cold tolerance once established. Best of all, they’re not susceptible to Boxwood Blight, making them an excellent low-maintenance alternative for Houston landscapes! 🌱 🏡 Stop replacing the same plants and start investing in landscaping built to last! 📍 Proudly Serving Houston & Surrounding Areas 📲 Call or Text: (713) 514-3537 🌐 www.dannyslandscapingtx.com 📅 Contact us today to schedule your FREE landscape consultation! #DannysLandscaping #HoustonLandscaping #LandscapeTransformation #LandscapingTips #DwarfYaupon

I don’t understand why people have boxwood for a hedge, keep the separate and natural looking, they look 1000x better than in a hedge 😭

Blight typically takes care of itself by the following year. Have seen many different types of shrubs be dead on season and flourish the following season but get that money

If you thin out the inside of your boxwood on the inside that helps with blight. Blight comes from humidity. You just have to be aggressive about it. But the rest of those boxwoods are still very healthy.
