@preschoolvibes: Here are two of my hands-on, multisensory lessons for the letter G! I print my “Just a Dot, Not a Lot” glue practice pages four to a page so each student has a small letter G card. Students practice squeezing small dots of glue all around the G. We let the cards dry overnight, and the next day they have their own tactile letter card! They trace the bumpy glue dots with their finger while saying the letter name and sound. They’re seeing the letter, feeling its shape, and saying and hearing its sound, all while practicing glue control. We also use our Bolderglow glow boards for a large group writing lesson. Each student has a board, we turn out the lights, and everyone practices writing capital G and lowercase g. Writing letters is extra exciting when they glow!
