Things that I’ve seen in Fargo that aren’t normal to everywhere else I’ve been/lived include meat raffles, bingo being everywhere and being able to play free bingo for actual prizes, gambling everywhere, zipper merging, meals at the church or funeral home after a funeral, butter on sandwiches, knoephla soup, pickles wrapped in cheese and then wonton wrappers, pull tabs ok that’s all I have right now as someone from the east coast that’s been here for almost 5 years

I have won multiple and it's somehow so much more satisfying than a cash raffle. 10/10. All in good fun, not too serious in my experience.

Thursday at the west Fargo VFW!! It’s a good time! I’ve won bacon a few times and steak. You have to do a meat raffle!

you can casually show up anywhere and get in on a meat raffle. Just had one at The Local in West Fargo tonight. my sister won some beef sticks.

If you google “meat raffle Fargo” it will give a small list of when and where the raffles are.

My favorite is put on in Wild Rice and not only can you purchase an amazing meal, but the meat raffle funds go towards Honor Flight. Dinner ✔️Donate to veteran program ✔️Maybe go home with a few pounds of bacon
