people just DO NOT understand how the online grocery works, istg. the amount of times a customer asks if they can pick up their order over 2 hours early is insane. like... NO! 99.99% of the time, NO! "it's just one item." And other people ordered their stuff before you! you ordered it for 7pm and it's currently 4pm, we haven't even gotten started on it!

I work at a retail store that does the same thing, and I’ve worked the electronic section, and I remember when they first started rolling this out, people would literally walk into the store, head all the way to electronics, two guys pick up the biggest TV from each side, and try to walk out with it… For the same reason you explained… They were like, we paid for this online, so we can just pick it up off of the floor, and I’m like, yeah, you paid for it, but that’s not your TV

former walmart electronics worker here, this was grossly common. thinking they can pick up the tv like a McDonald's mobile order. they have to pick the time to pick it up anyway but it was clear some people dont think that applies to them

I’ve worked in customer service since I was 18 (I’m 26 now) and let me tell you how inconsiderate I’ve learned people really can be. Like come work on the job and apply if you really think it’s that easy. To every company there’s a policy to keep order. I work in insurance and it gets crazy
