@b25news: A proposed substation in Falmouth is facing pushback from neighbors who say it would be built just feet from their homes. Eversource says the project is needed to make power more reliable on the Upper Cape, but residents are questioning why the location on Sam Turner Road was chosen.

At least they are not taking the house to build a new one.

It was there when you bought the house 🙄 did you think nothing would ever change with it?

And they'll complain when the power goes out because the infrastructure wasn't upgraded 👀

They’ve been there before the residents. The cape needs electrical infrastructure.

The existing site is already developed, and maintenance will be easier closer to the road. I'd be more concerned living so close to the electrical wires.

This sounds like complaining just for the sake of complaining. This will make Cape Cod more independent for electricity. It will come from on cape rather than traveling over the bridge
